Michal Shmuel
An Israeli artist with Moroccan heritage paints vivid scenes of Jerusalem, olive trees, and Jewish life. Her gallery needed a browsing experience as rich as her palette. We built a dual-navigation system that lets collectors discover art by theme or by color, backed by automated SEO content that drives organic growth.
“Browse by heart or by color. Art discovery reimagined.”
The Challenge
Michal Shmuel's art spans 11 distinct collections, from delicate Jerusalem flowers to bold abstract designs and sacred menorahs. A traditional gallery layout couldn't do justice to this range. Collectors browse art differently: some search by subject, others by the colors that match their interior. The site needed to serve both browsing styles while establishing Michal's unique voice in a crowded online art market.
The Process
Artist & Audience
Mapped Michal's 11 collections across themes (Flowers, Jerusalem, Biblical Stories, Menorahs, Letters) and studied how art collectors browse and buy online.
Dual Navigation
Designed a unique browsing system: collectors can explore by thematic collection OR filter by dominant color palette (Red, Gold, Blue, White, Pink, Orange, Green, Grey).
Gallery & Commerce
Built WordPress + WooCommerce gallery with high-res art displays, collection landing pages with artist statements, and secure international checkout.
Content Engine
Deployed automated SEO blog system via n8n. Weekly articles cover Israeli art, Moroccan-Jewish heritage, and painting techniques, respecting Michal's cultural identity.
The Solution
We invented a dual-navigation gallery. Visitors choose their path: browse by thematic collection (Flowers, Olive Trees, Jerusalem, Design/Abstract, The Kotel, Letters, Jewish People, Biblical Stories, Land of Israel, Menorahs) or filter by dominant color palette. This color-based browsing is unique in the art gallery space and makes the site immediately memorable. Each collection has a landing page with Michal's artist statement and a curated selection. The automated SEO system publishes weekly content that weaves her Moroccan-Israeli heritage into articles about art and faith.
